This memorial website was created to remember our dearest Larry Brown who was born in Pennsylvania on April 6, 1946 and passed away on November 16, 2008. You will live forever in our memories and hearts.

Larry Brown, 62 

  Larry Ronald Brown passed away suddenly on November 16 in Davenport, Fla.  Age 62, Larry was born April 6, 1946 to Ralph O. and Mary E. (Horvath) Brown in Pittsburgh, Pa.  He was a resident of Frankenmuth and had recently moved to Florida for the winter.  Larry had a love of music and had been a member of The Harold Mitas Orchestra, The Marv Herzog Bavarian Polka Band, Tommy Schober and Sorgenbrechter and the Steve Drzewicki Band and performed in many other bands over the years.  He played a variety of instruments but mastered the keyboard.  He had an eye for color and was an exceptional painter.  Larry also enjoyed playing golf.

  He leaves to cherish his memory one daughter, Shelby Brown, Tampa, Fla., and one son, Lawrence Brown, Pittsburgh, Pa.; two grandchildren, Heather and Garrett Odor; brother Tom (Lee) Brown, Elizabeth, Pa.; sisters Marcy Ziegler, West Mifflin, Pa., and Karen Brown, Hollywood, Fla.; nieces Alexandria and Mary Brown; nephews Jacob Brown, and Jeff, Eric and Brian Ziegler; as well as a number of aunts, uncles and cousins; and beloved friend Teresa Herzog.  He was predeceased by his parents.

  In accordance with Larry’s wishes, cremation has taken place.  A memorial service will be held at 2pm on Friday, November 28, at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, 958 E. Tuscola Street, Frankenmuth, with Father Bob Bryne officiating.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Larry Brown Fund through National City Bank, 201 S. Main Street, Frankenmuth.
